Every once in a while, one of my fans surprises me. Getting figures as a present is nice. But when they're bootlegs? That's the tits.

The figures in this collection update came seperate from each other, but I believe they belong together as a pair, which is how they are seated in my collection. The Godzilla figure is a bootleg from the Heisei series, and the Ghihdorah is the Grand King Dragon Ghidorah from Mothra 3.

For being bootlegs, they show an amazing amount of detail and quality. Both figures are made from a very stiff plastic, and feature less than stellar paint jobs. But in that it gives them a lot of character. Sure Godzilla has that "struck by the booty bandit look", but he at least looks happily surprised to see you. Most bootlegs have a ot of paint rubs, poorly defined sculpts, and cheap material. These could easily pass for genuinein a Toys R Us, and the scales are all sharp and crisp looking.

The Ghidorah means a lot to me. I used him to represent Muhammad in a previous TKT. I had the original figure years ago. I paid too much for him and had to sell him for way too low. So to get a bootleg of the original means more to me than actually owning the original. Thanks to the fan whose name I am witholding for the time being to protect his identity for making such an important sacrifice to send me these figures which I treasure so much. I hope that TKT will continue to entertain you for years to come, in return.
