Giant monster toys are just fine. But without a city to stomp through, it's like Malibu Beach Barbie without her crack house -- incomplete. ack in the peak of Trendmaster Godzilladom, the Godzilla Attacks NY playset came out. It's totally not to scale, but gives your Godzilla a place to stretch his feet and call home away from home. This wass a Christmas gift from my good friend and Toxic Pirate, Grendel. I had this set, but lot everything but the original figure. Now I have a fresh, clean figure and the set he came with.

The Godzilla figure is only articulated at the neck and legs. This is a shame because he really would benefit from movable arms. He comes with three "fire bolts" of atomic breath, which when loaded into his mouth like a ball gag fire out. It's a goodthing it's soft rubber because it fires so quickly after pressing a fin on the back of his head it should be considered a lethal weapon. This adds to the coolness factor.

The city comes with army men, a tank, destroyable bunker, bridge and Chrystler Building. All the major NY landmarks are depicted in the background in varying states of flammability. You can sit back and destroy everything from the comfort of your own home. Before "Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee" came to the X-Box, this was considered your Godzilla Entertainment Center.
