Background Info
Believed at first to be a myth and rumor (a French-born K-Girl?), Gigi's existance was ironically confirmed when she enrolled in Daikaiju High Foreign Exchange program and was accepted. Upon arrival, however, she discovered that her intended host family had deserted her at the airport, forcing her to live on the streets. Due to her inability to speak the language and her tendency to scream in panic and burrow into the pavement when startled, she was mistaken for a feral kaiju-girl at first until being cornered and "captured" by Gina and the high school nurse, the latter whom took her in and helped her acclimate herself. Their relationship went even deeper than that, as was recently discovered, forcing the nurse to relocate or face charges of seduction of a minor; to her credit, she left Gigi and her foster daughter, Zuki, a tidy sum of settlement money to live off of.
Between her rough beginning, her lack of any of the advanced powers or physical attributes normal to K-Girls, and the scandal with the school nurse (not to mention her inexplicable accent and the persistant rumors of her supposedly being dual-gendered), Gigi has faced nearly constant torment at the hands of her classmates, continuously falling under ridicule and abuse. Regardless, she remains almost disturbingly optimistic and cheerful, shrugging their bullying off as "just to be expected, non?" She has also proven to be a more than adequate parental figure to the otherwise wild Zuki, who, in turn, seems to be the only living person able to stomach the French girl's attempts at cooking.
Despite her physical weaknesses, Gigi has some of the best academic scores in the school and has recently shown an aptitude for physical education as well; while she may not be as adept as her peers, her positive attitude and the first-aid skills she picked up from her former lover have made her a welcome presence on the field, particularly with Sora and her frequent sparring partner Donna Kong. While Gigi has developed a serious crush on the grey-skinned kickboxer, she has also gotten friendly with the ape-like Donna due to a mutually discovered love of New York architecture and CGI effects.
Bizarrely, she has also developed a bond with the insane and deadly Kiga, formed during one of the latter's escapes from incarceration. To this end, Gigi has gotten a part-time job at the asylum Kiga is held at in the hopes that she might be able to help pull the girl back to sanity. Giganna is currently holding a betting pool as to how long it'll be before the French girl ends up Kiga's next victim.
