It is unknown whether her body adapted to the oceanic surrondings, or if it was the sea spirits that blessed her, but when she emerged from the cocoon, she took an elegant form that was ideal for the aquatic environment. At first she was scared and confused at these circumstances, but she soon grew a deep love of the ocean and lived among the sea life for years. Mari, as she now called herself, became sort of a guardian of the seas. Eventually she left the ocean to look for her lost family, and reunited with her sisters soon after.

Mari is still an insect k-girl, but her appearance gives her an elegant fish like look to her. She has four fin like wings, which allow her to fly in the air, but funtion much greater for swimming. Mari is extremely agile in the water, rivaling even the strongest and fastest of aquatic k-girls. With large deep blue eyes and light blue hair, she hold the tradition of the adorableness and beauty of the rest of the Mothra's.
